Indyjsko-Polska Izba Gospodarcza (IPCCI)

On January 11, 2025, a meeting was held in Warsaw between Mr. J.J. Singh - President of the Indo-Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mr. Umesh Nautiyal - President of the Indo-Polish Association for the Development of Culture, with the aim of cooperation in the joint organization of cultural events in various cities in Poland.
Also present was Mr. Jerzy Durszlewicz – Vice President of the Indo-Polish Association for the Development of Culture – Warsaw branch, who signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the parties to the IPCC and IPCCI.

Indian Embassy, Warsaw

The Indian Embassy in Poland cooperates with the Indo-Polish Association for the Development of Culture (IPCC) in promoting Indian culture in Poland. Together they organize cultural events such as festivals, concerts and exhibitions that bring the richness of Indian tradition and art closer to the Polish audience.
It is also necessary to mention the Indians living in Poland, who can cultivate their culture outside their country, integrate with the community and promote the Indian heritage among Poles. Such cooperation strengthens cultural ties between the two countries and promotes mutual understanding and respect for cultural diversity.

Indyjsko-Polski Związek Badmintona

Podstawowym celem stowarzyszenia jest łączenie społeczności Polski i Indii poprzez oferowanie polskim i indyjskim dzieciom treningów badmintona. Ponadto, celem Indyjsko Polskiego Związku Badmintona jest stworzenie przestrzeni, w której członkowie społeczności indyjskiej w Polsce mogą się łączyć, socjalizować i angażować w aktywności fizyczne.

Ćajlandia

A new project under the patronage of the IPCC called Ćajlandia has officially started. It is an initiative aimed at promoting and providing information in the context of Asian culture, especially India. The project on Instagram will be led by IPCC co-secretary Natalie Jagło and board members Patrycja Domasik and Zuzanna Szymczyk. The President of the IPCC, Mr. Umesh Nautiyal, officially inaugurated this initiative.

Natarang

Indian Dance Group Natarang from Chorzów is a group of artists promoting Indian culture in Poland. It presents Indian classical dance Kuchipudi, Odissi and Bollywood dance. Dancers practice their skills in Great Britain and India. By giving lectures and workshops, they willingly share their love about India with others. The group works with ChSM “Pokolenie” Club and Chorzów Cultural Center, where in January this year it celebrated its 10th anniversary of its artistic activity.

Chameli

Zespół Chameli powstał w 2014 roku w Krakowie i prezentuje głównie bollywood, bhangrę, garbę, lavani oraz kathak, jak również liczne fuzje bazujące na innych stylach tanecznych. Tancerki regularnie występują podczas obchodów świąt Holi i Diwali, licznych ślubów czy konferencji, zaprezentowały się także w programie Dzień Dobry TVN, a ze swoimi pokazami odwiedziły również Norwegię, Islandię oraz arktyczne rejony Svalbardu.

Jhankaar

Jhankaar is a group founded in 2018 in Krakow by two passionate dancers. Jhankaar quickly made a name for themselves, performing at institutes, corporate events and the Indian Embassy. Their choreographies combine the beauty of semi-classical and Indian classical dance Kathak, combining tradition with creativity. In addition to performing, they also teach dance, sharing their love for the art while constantly striving for improvement. Jhankaar is guided by the belief that dance is not just an art form, but a joyful expression of love, meant to uplift and connect people.

Kahani

Kahani Dance Group is an Indian dance group from Piekary Śląskie. Kahani consists of Indian culture enthusiasts and dancers with over 15 years of experience. The group not only performs in Poland and abroad, presenting various forms of Indian dance, but also leads workshops, organizes various events, paints mehendi, leads lectures, and has also made some TV appearances.
The group also had the opportunity to perform in Stockholm and twice in Geneva.

Rang

Rang is the only Bollywood dance group in north-eastern Poland. It was founded in 2008 by Anna Jóźwiak. It is made up of people passionate about dance, films, music and Indian culture. They have been presented many times on festival stages in Białystok, Warsaw, Krakow and Wroclaw. The Rang group participates at least once a year in workshops of classical Indian dances: Kathak, Bharatanatiam and Odissi, Garba dance and Bollywood dance.

Manjari

The Manjari group was founded in 2017, and most of the dancers are graduates of Indology at the Jagiellonian University. Manjari specializes mainly in Bollywood and semi-classical dance, but their choreographies also combine elements of Indian folk dances. Manjari cooperates with the IPCC, among others as the Artistic Department of the IPCC. The group promotes Indian culture and dance at various events, conducts dance workshops and lectures at
the topic of Indian dance, some of them also at Krakow universities.

Natyalaya

Natyalaya is a Krakow dance group presenting classical Indian dance Bharatanatyam and energetic Bollywood dance. The group was founded in 2008 by the talented artist Ewa Wardzała. They regularly perform at events promoting Indian culture and its rich dance heritage. The group cordially invites you to participate in Bharatanatyam and Bollywood dance courses and workshops, which they organize in Krakow.

Kalpadruma

Kalpadruma House of Arts began their dance journey in 2010 and has been growing steadily ever since. They currently offer classes in Bharatanatyam, Carnatic singing, keyboarding and Kerala mural art in India and Poland. In the text of Abhinaya Darpan, the Kalpadruma tree is depicted as the embodiment of the entire art form, encompassing the performer, the performance and the audience. The mission of the group is to fulfill the desires of these three elements in a unique style.

Sihir Shringaar

Zespół Sihir Shringaar reprezentuje kulturę i różnorodność tańca indyjskiego od 2023 roku. Tancerki trenują w Studiu Tańca Sihir w Krakowie. W ich choreografiach można dostrzec elementy klasycznych oraz ludowych tańców indyjskich, jednak przede wszystkim ich taniec stara się oddać magię kina Bollywood.

Navratna

Navratna is a Krakow dance group founded in 2022 that passionately combines classical Indian dance forms into a harmonious whole. Their lively performances weave the essence of Indian culture through fluid rhythm and graceful movements. They have performed on stages all over Poland and strive to promote Indian culture and heritage through performances of classical dances and Bollywood Fusion.
